In the Near Future: WhatsApp Will Have 21 More New Emojis

Last year in December 2022, WhatsApp added new emojis to the chat messenger, but these were not visible on alternate keyboards. It only appeared on the WhatsApp keyboard. What is finally planning to fix this issue with a new update? They aim to bring 21 new emojis. This change was spotted in the latest beta version of Whatsapp for Android (2.23.5.13), which is available on the Google Play Store.

As of this update, the 21 new emojis depicted in the screenshot can be used in WhatsApp conversations without downloading a third-party program. They also resolve the issue between some users that could receive these emojis but be unable to send them. Some users can use these new emojis on WhatsApp keyboard, even if they’re using an older app version, though we do recommend always using the most recent app version for optimal performance and security. However, this is a minor update in the beta version.
